A native of Pinehurst, North Carolina, Danielle Bishop fell in love with the luxury and beauty of cashmere products when she was in her early 20’s as an undergraduate at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Nearly a decade later, Danielle still remembered what it felt like to wear her first cashmere scarf. Equipped with a business background in luxury hotels and resorts, Danielle launched Cashmere Counter in 2017 to share high-quality cashmere on a large scale.

A casual golfer and a serious entrepreneur, Danielle resides in Durham, North Carolina with her husband Zach, sons Whitaker, Winston, Watts, and dog Sammie.
